I know Summer has only just begun, but last weekend we took part in our 4th market of the busy summer festival season. We were at the amazing Croxley Revels in Watford, which saw thousands of people descend on the Green for an afternoon of fun, food, performances, and a fantastic array of stalls (including ours!). The weather was stunning and it was great that were able to continue to showcase our new Island Balm, which is proving very popular. We have also been having lots of conversations about being environmentally friendly and the fact that we have pretty much eliminated single-use plastics from our products. It hasn’t been easy when it comes to packaging glycerine soaps that attract moisture, but it’s definitely worth it!

Another busy event for us was Denham Village Fayre on the late May Bank Holiday Monday. Lots of people there from far and wide to enjoy the quaint South Buckinghamshire village (think Midsomer Murders) and all the amazing stalls lining the thoroughfare. It was our second year there, and it was even better than before.

New to our list this year is the Red Kite Craft Market, which runs alongside the Farmers’ Market in Little Chalfont, South Bucks on the 2nd Saturday of the Month. We are hoping to make this our ‘regular’ market, so that we have some continuity and the locals can get to know us. It has been a little quiet so far (May & June), not helped by terrible weather, but we hope it will pick up again (come along!). Because of holidays and other commitments, we won’t be there again until October (possibly September, but we’ll keep you posted).

Well now that that is done, we’re on to booking our Christmas markets, would you believe?!
