We have now done all our Christmas Fairs for the year! On Friday evening we had a stall at the very festive Carols on the Green and Christmas Market in Stoke Poges, South Bucks. It had been chucking it down with rain most of the day, so we were very fortunate to have dry weather for the event in the evening!
It was really well supported by the villagers and the choir leading the carols were excellent. There was a Santa procession, reindeer, barbecue and bar to keep everyone entertained. We were really glad to be part of such a nice event!
Our next Christmas event will be the York House School Festive Shopping Evening in Sarratt, Herts
Sorry we haven’t posted in a while…we’ve been busy changing all our labelling and making lots of products for the upcoming Christmas events. We’re really excited now that we’ve been able to get everything looking a bit more uniform in terms of logo and branding. You may have noticed that we’ve made a few tweaks to our website too.
Our first event is a Christmas Fair on Saturday 10th November at Harefield Community Centre, which is right on our doorstep! It will be great to be part of a community event and we hope local people will get to know us and become regular customers.
Then we’ll be at York House Prep School in Sarratt for their Christmas Shopping Evening on Wednesday 21st November for a fun filled evening. We took part 2 years ago and it was a great event. We even won a bottle of wine in the raffle!
Our third event will be St Clement Danes School Christmas Fair on 1st December in Chorleywood, followed by Carols on the Green in Stoke Poges in Bucks on the evening of Friday 7th December.
All details are on our website – hope you can join us!
I know, it seems too early to be talking about Christmas, but we are getting ourselves booked in for Christmas events, so we need to get cracking on making products so that we’re ready!
We’ve been busy this weekend ordering supplies and thinking about new products. We love love LOVE cocoa butter, and as we always want to bring you a Caribbean skincare experience, we want to use more Caribbean ingredients, like cocoa butter, so we are working on developing a new skin balm/salve which will include cocoa butter as the main ingredient.
A harder butter than shea butter, cocoa butter is full of skin-loving essential fatty acids, which are often lacking in dry, eczema-prone skin. It is fantastic for healing and fading scars and stretch narks, and smells like chocolate…Watch this space!
