Thank you to everyone that came out yesterday to support the Red Kite Craft Market and Farmers’ Market in Little Chalfont!
With the current corona virus crisis, everyone is understandably apprehensive about attending public events, but the markets still went ahead. Stalls were browsed, purchases were made, homemade cakes were eaten, and many teas and coffees were enjoyed!
We are booked in for the April Red Kite Market, but do keep an eye on our website and social media, just in case anything changes. We have also applied to do the massive Denham Village Fayre again this year at the end of May, where we hope to debut some NEW SOAPS!!! But as above, we’ll be keeping an eye on the situation and will adjust accordingly.
Stay well everybody
Today we had a stall at the *BRAND NEW* Amersham Little Fox Market, held at the Amersham Free Church Alfred Ellis Hall, just off the High Street in the Chilterns.
As it was a new event, we didn’t expect it to be amazing, and although there were people browsing throughout the morning, it went fairly quiet later on. It just needs some time for word to spread and for it to gain a following (in person, and not just on social media :))
There were plenty of people on the High Street and we managed to get some of them in (including an old friend!) by leafleting at points during the day. Hopefully they’ll return next month.
Annoyingly, I filled up my flask at home with Lemon & Ginger tea and then ended up leaving it at home! Then when we got to the fair we found out that the person who would have been running the tea & coffee stand unfortunately wasn’t there due to illness, so we were all making trips back and forward to Costa and Caffe Nero. Pricey! (I did have a bottle of water as always, but that was gone in no time).
While we were there, we picked up an amazing piece of tree trunk to use in our display. But more on this later…
Our next one in the diary is a new Little Fox Market at Gerrards Cross on 24th April… What we’d like to do is probably stick with ONE of the Little Fox Venues (Rickmansworth was our launch-pad), but we’ll keep you updated! But remember, our online shop is always open.
