We are back from a lovely week in Cornwall, and this afternoon I made these gift boxes using some funky templates I found. What do you think?
I think I will use them on our stalls that we will have on the weekends running up to Christmas. I know, it seems early, but it’s time to get cracking on Christmas prep!
We will also be relocating in a few weeks (not far from where we are now) and are making up boxes for another purpose (!) so we will need time to sort ourselves out in our new home before the Christmas fun begins!…
Yay! We have confirmed our place at the Chalfont Crafty Collective’s Autumn Market and Macmillan Coffee Morning at the end of September. I’m not really a baker, so this is a nice way to be involved without being a Mary Berry 🙂 We haven’t done any markets since March, and I’ve really missed them, so it is definitely something to look forward to. The local community of Chalfont St Peter come out and support this ever-growing market every quarter and it has become popular with stall holders too, as the organisers say they are over-subscribed and have a waiting list this time! So it’s even more “yay!” that we got a place.
We have quite a bit of soap in stock as we’ve not been doing any markets over the Summer, but we will will need to make more body butters nearer the time as they have a shorter shelf life.
We will also be on holiday at the end of the Summer, and we are really looking forward to the break :))
Not done this in a while! This afternoon I made some cards for June 3rd fair.
Sorry I’ve been a bit slack in posting lately! Things are a little crazy as we are hoping to move shortly. Don’t worry, we’re not going far!
This morning however, I am chilling out in my craft room with a cup of lemon and ginger tea while I look at what needs to be done today and what ingredients I need to order. Off the top of my head, I know I definitely need to order some grapefruit oil. I also need to start making body butters for the June Summer Market in Chalfont St Peter, which really isn’t that far away now! ☀
On Saturday we will be at Chalfont St Peter’s Chalfont Craft Collective Christmas Fair, with lots of delightful soaps, body butters, oils and accessories, as well as some lovely gift sets! Support your local crafters and small businesses x
